Endoplasmic reticulum from hyphal tip cells of Pisolithus tinctorius. BODIPY® 558/568 conjugate of brefeldin A, isomer 1; carboxy-DFFDA.

Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of the hyphal tip cells of Pisolithus tinctorius were labeled with the red-orange–fluorescent BODIPY® 558/568 conjugate of brefeldin A (Cat. no. B7449), a reversible inhibitor of protein transport from the ER to the Golgi apparatus in many cell types and species. The motile tubular vacuole system was stained with green-fluorescent carboxy-DFFDA (Oregon Green® 488 carboxylic acid diacetate, Cat. no. O6151).
