Metabolically active yeast process the FUN® 1 dye, forming numerous red fluorescent cylindrical structures within their vacuoles. FUN® 1 dye is available separately (Cat. No. F7030), or as part of the LIVE/DEAD® Yeast Viability Kit (Cat. No. L7009).
