TRIzol® Reagent is designed for use with tissues or cells including lipid-rich and difficult samples. 1mL of reagent can be used to isolate total RNA from up to 100mg of tissue or 10^7 Cells.
TRIzol® Max™ Bacterial Isolation Kits are designed for use with bacterial samples. 0.2mL Max Bacterial Enhancement Reagent can be used to isolate total RNA from 10^8 bacterial cells

TRIzol® LS Reagent is designed for use with liquid samples such as serum or virus preparations. Total RNA can be isolated using a reagent to liquid sample ratio of 3:1.
