The Pacific Green™ dye is a new Molecular Probes® fluorophore that has an absorbance at 411 nm and is optimally excited by the violet laser. Pacific Blue™, Pacific Green™, and Pacific Orange™ dye conjugates can be simultaneously excited at 405 nm and emit at 455 nm, 500 nm, and 551 nm, respectively, facilitating three-color analysis.
For multiplexed western blotting applications these Alexa Fluor® 790 secondary detection reagents are validated for use together with Alexa Fluor® 680.
Premo™ FUCCI Cell Cycle Sensor is a fluorescent, two-color sensor of cell cycle progression and division in live cells. Premo™ FUCCI sensor enables accurate and sensitive cell cycle analysis of individual cells or cells in a population by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry.
CellLight® reagents are ready-to-use fluorescent protein constructs targeted to specific subcellular structures. These reagents provide a simple and effective method for producing targeted intracellular labels within living cells. Simply add the reagent to your cells, incubate overnight, and your cells are ready to image your cells. These latest introductions include actin and tubulin labels for cytoskeleton analysis, mitochondrial probes, a nuclear probe and a family of probes for vesicle analysis.
Qdot®-conjugated antibodies are exceptionally bright and photostable. Donkey anti-mouse, donkey anti-rabbit, and donkey anti-goat conjugates are now provided in the six most commonly used colors: Qdot® 525, Qdot® 565, Qdot® 585, Qdot® 605, Qdot® 625, and Qdot® 655. Qdot®probes are photostable fluorescent particle which, unlike even the best organic fluorescent dyes, do not photobleach over time.
Life Technologies offers a wide assortment of antibodies for your everyday flow cytometry research. Here you will find the newest antibodies released specifically for flow cytometry. Check back each month as we will continually list the latest antibodies released for flow cytometry.
New package sizes of amine reactive Alexa Fluor® dyes are convenient for small or large scale protein conjugations.
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are an inevitable consequence in aerobic organisms an imbalance between the production of ROS and the ability of cells to scavenge them results in the damage associated with aging, atherosclerosis, carcinogenesis, reperfusion injury and neuorodegenerative disorders.
CellROX® Reagents are novel fluorogenic probes for measuring oxidative stress in live cells. They can be used with various platforms, such as fluorescence microscopy, high content screening (HCS), flow cytometery, and microplate-based fluorimetry as well as benchtop platforms such as the Attune® Cytometer and the Floid® Cell Imaging Station.
Lipid peroxidation generally refers to the oxidative degradation of cellular lipids by reactive oxygen species. Peroxidation of unsaturated lipids affects cell membrane properties, signal transduction pathways, apoptosis, and the deterioration of foods and other biological compounds. Lipid peroxidation may play a role in aging, as well as pathological processes such as drug-induced phototoxicity and atherosclerosis, and it is often the cause of free radical–mediated damage in cells. The Image-iT® Lipid Peroxidation Kit enables ratiometric fluorescence imaging of lipid peroxidation in live cells, while Click-iT® LAA (Linoleamide alkyne) enables the measurement of lipid peroxidation in fixed cells using a wide variety of platforms.
Phagocytosis and endocytosis are the processes by which cells internalize materials from biomolecules to micro-organisms. They are important cellular activities in functions from basic maintenance to immune response. Indicators for studying phagocytosis and endocytosis include BioParticles, bacteria and yeast labeled with fluorescent dyes such as pHrodo, and fluorescent proteins that monitor vesicle formation. Because the vesicle pH changes during the phagocytic process, sensitive pH indicators are useful to monitor stages in the pathway.
To label your own molecule with pHrodo red or Green pHrodo™ use STP esters or maleimides of our unique fluorogenic pH indicators and label protein or any amine- or thiol-containing biomolecule. The addition of pHrodo™ green indicators expands the multiplexing capabilities of this technology for the study of many membrane internalization processes.
Trial package sizes of 50 µL allow you to optimize your experiments and test these labels in novel applications.
Simplify fluorescent imaging with these new Molecular Probes® reagents which offer simplified protocols, ready-to-use formulations with no dilutions or calculations, and convenient packaging for easy storage.
Alexa Fluor® 680 and 790 Antibody Labeling Kits allow you to label any IgG with near-infrared fluorescent dyes. The emission of Alexa Fluor® 680 and 790 dyes makes antibodies labeled with these fluorophores useful for most small animal in vivo imaging applications and platforms and also for multicolor fluorescence western detection using systems such as the LI-COR® Odyssey® infrared imaging system.
