SYTOX® Green Stains
SYTOX® Green dead cell stain has the highest nucleic acid affinity of all of the SYTOX® dead cell stains. Exhibiting a 100-fold increase in fluores- cence upon nucleic acid binding and minimal base selectivity (unlike DAPI and propidium iodide), SYTOX® Green dead cell stain is great for multi-parametric analysis with blue- or red- fluorescent labels. SYTOX® Orange Nucleic Acid Stain
SYTOX® Orange dead cell stain binds nucleic acids in cells with compromised membranes. This stain is useful as an indicator of cell death and is much brighter than propidium iodide.

SYTOX® Red Dead Cell Stain
SYTOX® Red dead cell stain is a simple and quantitative single-step dead-cell indicator for use with red laser-equipped flow cytometers. SYTOX® Red dead cell stain is a high-affinity nucleic acid stain that easily penetrates cells with com- promised plasma membranes but will not cross uncompromised cell membranes.
SYTOX® Blue Stains
SYTOX® Blue dead cell stain is a simple and quantitative single-step dead-cell indicator for use with violet laser equipped flow cytometers. SYTOX® Blue dead cell stain is a high-affinity nucleic acid stain that easily penetrates cells with compromised plasma membranes but will not cross uncompromised cell membranes. |
