About ZYMED®

In February 2005 Invitrogen Corporation acquired Zymed® Laboratories and its complete line of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization products.  Not only are we still committed to provide the same quality and performance that the Zymed® brand represents but we aim to improve these products by incorporating more efficient processes and procedures.

Our antibody development team is constantly researching new targets and developing products with proven clinical utilities. Because of its diverse scientific portfolio, Invitrogen is in the unique position of being able to apply “new” methodologies to solve “old” problems in histology and anatomical pathology, such as inconsistent tissue fixation, random tissue pretreatment methods, and poor antigen detection. Enhancing Zymed® immunodetection technologies may help with all of these problems.
