Project management

Effortless and proactive project management

Initiating and executing a project for SelectScreen® services is simple.  You can look forward to proactive communication about your project and access to our team of technical experts facilitated by a dedicated project manager.
From project beginning to end, you can rely on Invitrogen SelectScreen® services to provide you with a reliable, consistent, and easy experience.  All SelectScreen® service projects follow the same process once initiated.


  1. Request a quotation from your Technology Sales Specialist or Account Manager (If you don’t know your Technology Sales Specialist or Account Manager, email us at discoveryservices@invitrogen.com)
  2. A quotation with all instructions for submitting your project will be returned to you within 48 hours
  3. Complete the online SelectScreen® Submission Form
  4. Send in your signed quote and purchase order
  5. Submit your compounds to the address on the quote
  6. The Project Manager will contact you when the purchase order and compounds arrive as well as when the project starts and the expected due date.
  7. Data will be provided in a report and delivered via email.  Protocols and assay conditions used will accompany each report.
  8. Any time throughout the process, you can contact the Project Manager by phone or email.  Typical response times are less than 24 hours.

Meet your SelectScreen® Project Manager

Carolyn is a Project Manager for Invitrogen Discovery Assays and Services located in Madison, Wisconsin.  She joined the team in March 2005 and manages SelectScreen® services globally.  Carolyn manages projects from the moment the inquiry arrives until the final report is delivered.  She provides pre- and post- ordering support to clients as well.  Carolyn understands a clients’ sense of urgency and strives to provide support and answers within the same business day they were received.  

Prior to coming to Invitrogen, Carolyn worked at GE Healthcare (Amersham Biosciences) where she worked in operations purifying enzymes for sequencing and then moved to Product Management, managing custom/special solutions for the Americas.  Carolyn received her B.S. degree in Biotechnology from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
