Torrent Suite Software
Data from the Ion semiconductor sequencer streams automatically to the Torrent Server that contains Torrent Suite Software. Torrent Suite Software processes the raw voltage semiconductor sequencing data into DNA base calls. This process happens without user intervention and can complete in as little as 30 minutes following the conclusion of the sequencing run.
Torrent Browser
Torrent Browser is the web interface for scientists to access Torrent Suite Software. Simply access the Torrent Server associated with the sequencer and authenticate with a username and password. Semiconductor sequencing data is available for download with a simple right click. Reports are easily browsed with straightforward tables summarizing key results to help ensure that runs are of high quality.
Torrent Mobile
Torrent Mobile allows the user to view Ion semiconductor sequencing data through any web-enabled mobile device. View per-run reports, status, and alignment information in a mobile-friendly format from the lab, office, or coffee shop.
Data Analysis Solutions-Plug-Ins and Torrent Browser Plugin Store
Torrent Suite Software customizes analysis by running a plug-in application at the end of each run. Ion Torrent offers several of these plug-ins, such as variant calling and de novo assembly, and any interested software developer can write their own. Plug-ins from a wide variety of developers will be freely available for download through Torrent Browser Plugin Store, a special section of the Ion Community.
Data Analysis Solutions-Desktop Solutions
Plug-ins are great for quick-and-simple single sample analyses, but more complicated analyses will benefit from full-featured commercial software. Ion Torrent has partnered with several software providers to offer streamlined desktop data analysis solutions for semiconductor sequencing data.
