Protein Sample Preparation & Protein Purification
![]() |
Advance your proteomic workflows using Invitrogen’s comprehensive portfolio of products. You can simplify protein sample preparation and reduce protein sample complexity prior to mass spectrometry. You can isolate peptides, proteins, protein complexes and even sub-cellular compartments directly from your crude sample for further analysis. We offer attractive and reliable solutions to academic and industrial researchers, diagnostic companies and biotech OEMs. |
Immunoprecipitation
For small scale, reproducible protein pull downs, magnetic beads coated with protein A or G is a fast and automatable solution. Protein A or G agarose is provided for bulk purifications.
|
Protein Complex Pull-Downs
| ’In solution’ magnetic bead protein pull-down is both gentle and fast. This allowing for large protein complexes to be isolated intact without breaking the weak ion-bonds between interacting proteins. Learn more about His-Tagged Protein Isolation & Pulldown using Dynabeads® |
Protein Sample Fractionation
Reduce the complexity of your sample. Smaller fractions can be achieved by exploiting differences in protein charge or hydrophobicity using magnetic bead chromatography. Serum samples can easily be fractionated for peptide profiling using Dynabeads®. Complexity can also be reduced by organelle isolation. Separation can be done based on isoelectric point of proteins using the ZOOM® IEF Fractionator.
