NovaBright™ beta-galactosidase and firefly luciferase dual enzyme reporter gene chemiluminescent detection kit provides rapid and sensitive sequential detection of both reporter gene enzymes in the same sample. The use of two reporter genes, one as an experimental reporter (luciferase) and the other as a constitutively expressed transfection control reporter (b-galactosidase) is often necessary to accurately quantitate activity from experimental reporter constructs.
