1) Number of arrays requested:

2) Will the proteins be provided by the customer? (if No, please skip to question # 8)

  • Yes
  • No

3) How many proteins will be sent to Invitrogen?

4) This service will require at least 50ul of each protein at the recommended concentration 0.1-1mg/ml. A lower concentration may be acceptable. Please inquire if protein concentration is lower than 0.1mg/ml)

5) What are the buffer components?

6) Do your proteins have an epitope tag (An epitope tag is not a requirement but in certain cases may allow for additional quality controls)? Please specify

7) What is your intended application? (This will determine which type of array surface should be used.)

  • Protein interaction
  • Substrate profiling
  • Other

If other please specify

8) Proteins derived from Invitrogen’s Ultimate™ human ORF collection
Please submit an excel spreadsheet that includes a list of desired human Ultimate™ ORF clones with accession numbers. These can be found on Invitrogen’s web-site by searching the human Ultimate™ ORF Browser.
  • Requested proteins should be submitted as excel spreadsheets in increments of 92 (discounts for partial plates <92 clones are not available).
Some of the proteins chosen may fail to express. We guarantee that 50% of the proteins will be detectable by Western blot analysis at the expected size or greater and print on the slide. If the success rate falls under 50%, the run will be repeated. Invitrogen may request alternative Ultimate™ ORF clones be chosen.

Please note: the proteins may express in high enough quantities to be printed but fail to be detectable on the Western blot control. If the expression run success rate is greater than 50% all 92 proteins/per submitted plate will be printed on the arrays.
