Genomic Profiling - Array Labeling & Genotyping
![]() |
Human genetic variation is present in many different forms in the genome, ranging from large, structural, chromosomal changes to single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Invitrogen offers a broad range of products for genomic profiling from traditional methods like microarrays to more advanced profiling techniques.

Array-Based CGH
BioPrime® Total Genomic DNA Labeling Systems, Alexa Fluor® dyes, and Cot-1 DNA® products provide superior labeling, hybridization, and blocking performance for your aCGH array format.

Genotyping
Genotyping identifies single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), insertions/deletions (in/dels), and multi-nucleotide polymorphisms that are common DNA variants across the genome. Our comprehensive genotyping products range from Platinum® GenoType Tsp DNA Polymerase for amplification of dinucleotide repeat markers to TaqMan®-based primer/probe sets and reagents for SNP genotyping and drug metabolism analysis.

Copy Number Variation
TaqMan® Copy Number Assays enable you to measure distinct copy number changes quantitatively with high specificity and reproducibility in only 3-4 hours.
|
AFLP Detection
| AFLP® Analysis Systems enable the identification of DNA polymorphisms in plants or microorganisms using selective primers, classical fingerprinting techniques, and PCR to amplify a subset of genomic restriction. |
Yeast Deletion Mapping
| Yeast deletion pools allow simultaneous analysis of large numbers of deletion strains. Identification and quantitation of the yeast deletions can be determined by hybridizing the deletions to a microarray containing all the yeast deletion barcode oligos. |
