DME and SNP assays
For analysis of biologically important polymorphisms in drug metabolism, we offer 2,700 unique TaqMan® DME Assays that detect polymorphisms in regulatory elements, as well as coding regions in 221 drug metabolism enzyme (DME) and drug transporter genes.
Option 1: TaqMan® OpenArray® PGx Panel
The TaqMan® OpenArray® PGx Panel provides valuable data for studying drug interactions in several research areas. Targeted genes relate to areas of study such as cardiology/hematology (CYP2D6, CYP2C19, NAT1, NAT2), analgesics (CYP2C9, CYP2D6), rheumatology (CYP2C9, TPMT), neurology (CYP2C19, CYP2D6), and myology/osteology (CYP2C19). A total of 29 genes are covered across 158 unique assays.

Copy Number Variation
Copy number variation (CNV) is an important polymorphism associated with drug metabolism and a number of diseases. Life Technologies offers over 1.6 million individual predesigned TaqMan® Copy Number Assays with human genome-wide coverage, targeting gene exons and introns, extragenic regions, and CNV sequences from the Database of Genomic Variants (DGV). TaqMan® Copy Number Assays are available as individual assays or in 96- and 384-well format with our custom plating option. Custom and Custom Plus TaqMan® Copy Number Assays offer an alternative CNV analysis solution when a predesigned assay for your target is not available.
