Tempus® Blood RNA Tubes*

Designed for the collection and stabilization of whole blood for RNA applications such as realtime PCR, microarrays, or RNA-sequencing.

  • Immediately lyse whole blood cells and stabilize RNA in a single step

LeukoLOCK™ Total RNA Isolation System*

Filter whole blood to isolate leukocytes, store the captured leukocytes for several days at room temperature (or longer at lower temperatures), then isolate the leukocyte RNA.

  • Resulting RNA is depleted of globin mRNA—ideal for expression profiling applications

RNAlater® solution*

RNAlater® tissue collection: RNA Stabilization Solution is an aqueous, nontoxic tissue storage reagent that rapidly permeates tissues to stabilize and protect cellular RNA.

  • Simplifies sample collection and disruption; just drop samples into RNAlater® solution and store for later processing
  • For many sample types, you can avoid having to grind frozen samples in liquid nitrogen; just process samples stored in RNAlater® solution as you would for unfrozen samples
  • Compatible with many RNA isolation procedures, including most Ambion® kits
