RNA Century™ Markers (100 – 1,000 bases): RNA Century™ Markers comprise a set of 5 in vitro–generated transcripts of 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 bases. RNA Century™-Plus Markers comprise a set of 7 in vitro–generated transcripts of 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 750, and 1,000 bases. The Century™ Markers and Century™ Marker Templates are ideal for use in isotopic and nonisotopic ribonuclease protection assays and when single-stranded RNA size standards are needed for denaturing gel electrophoresis. |
Century™ Marker Templates
The Century™ Marker Templates contain mixtures of linearized plasmids ready for use as templates in in vitro transcription reactions for synthesis of labeled RNA molecular size standards. When transcribed with T7 RNA polymerase, Century™ Marker Templates produce 5 RNA transcripts of 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 bases. Century™-Plus Marker Templates produce 7 RNA transcripts of 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 750, and 1,000 bases.
