All Ultimate™ ORF clones can be readily identified and ordered via an online search using the Ultimate™ ORF Browser. This convenient search engine allows you to find your gene of interest using keywords, clone ID, accession number, or sequence information. The clone ID hyperlink allows you to retrieve the Ultimate™ ORF Card where continuously updated information on the clone can be found. Expression-ready clones
All Ultimate™ ORFs are provided in the Gateway® entry vector pENTR™221 and they have the amber stop codon that makes them compatible with the Tag-On-DemandTM technology. You can rapidly and efficiently recombine the ORF of interest into any expression vector and go straight to gene analysis in your system of choice. The Ultimate™ ORF Clone Collection is updated quarterly with the most current information from the GenBank, Ensembl and Swissprot databases and if any Ultimate ORF Clone have become invalid, they are deactivated from the collection and moved to the ORFanage Collection. Quarterly, Life Technologies™ Corporation will update the Ultimate™ ORF Clone Collection, by adding, deleting, or modifying the bioinformatic information to more accurately reflect the most current scientific information associated with each of the clones represented in the collection.
