Dialyzed Fetal Bovine Serum
 | With dialyzed fetal bovine serum, all molecules below 10,000 mw are removed, not just those that are lipophilic as in charcoal stripped serum. This eliminates many low molecular weight hormones and cytokines that could impact the culture. These can either be titered in or left out depending upon the needs of the cell culture research. It should be noted that glucose, amino acids, etc., are also removed; however, the cell culture medium would provide known amounts of these components.
