Cell Tracing
Life Technologies™ offers Molecular Probes® fluorescent stains and probes for short- and long-term tracing in fixable and nonfixable cell samples. Many stains are fluorogenic; all come in a variety of colors and are easy to use. | Products |
Neuronal Tracing
Axonal pathways can be labeled either in live tissue with microinjected fluorescent beads, or in fixed tissue with lipophilic dyes that diffuse throughout all the projections of given cells. Additional products found here can label myelin tracks along with neuronal somas with Nissl body stains.

Microbial Tracking
![]() | This section contains products designed specifically for tracking yeast, fungi, and bacteria. Many were first characterized for their utility in mammalian cells, but have been found to work for single-cell organisms like yeast and bacteria. Our easy-to-use BacLight™ kits for viability determination can be used to track cells for several generations.
