CaptureSelect™ Proteomics Toolbox® products provide:

Single-step depletion of high-abundance human serum proteins
These sample preparation products are single-domain monospecific antibodies uniquely immobilized on high-capacity agarose-based beads. These are designed for single-step, single-use depletion of high-abundance proteins from human serum, plasma, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Prepared bead lots are individually tested for their specific binding to human plasma proteins and are designed to exhibit superior loading capacities. The single-use configuration eliminates the need for re-use and helps avoid potential cross-contamination of samples. With over 99.9% protein removal, purified proteins are suitable for downstream applications. These products are commonly used to prepare samples for gel electrophoresis or to purify proteins for mass spectrometry in biomarker discovery and validation efforts, as well as for sample preparation prior to clinical diagnostics tests.
Available products include:
CaptureSelect™ HumanPlasma14—depletes the top 14 most abundant proteins from human blood plasma: albumin, IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD and free light chains, transferrin, fibrinogen, α-1 antitrypsin, apolipoprotein A1, α-2 macroglobulin, α-1 acid glycoprotein, and haptoglobin; achieves >99.9% depletion of albumin and >99% depletion of the other high-abundance proteins, with no nonspecific binding and the highest reported loading capacity
CaptureSelect™ HumanPlasma Albumin—depletes albumin from human plasma or serum
CaptureSelect™ HumanPlasma Ig/Albumin—depletes human plasma or serum of albumin and all Igs, including IgG, IgA, IgM, IgD, IgE, and free light chains
CaptureSelect™ Multi Species Albumin—depletes albumin from plasma or serum derived from a number of different species (e.g., mouse, rat, rabbit, goat, bovine, guinea pig, human, and horse)
