Combining antibody-based selectivity with the robustness of a rigid and reusable affinity matrix, the CaptureSelect™ C-tag affinity resin recognizes a 4–amino acid C-terminal tag, EPEA (glutamic acid - proline - glutamic acid - alanine). CaptureSelect™ C-tag resin purifies C-terminal–tagged proteins with high affinity and selectivity, even in the presence of urea and guanidine HCl, from complex mixtures like cytoplasm, periplasmic fractions, and cell culture medium in a one-step process using mild elution conditions at neutral pH.
