POROS® Protein A, Protein G and CaptureSelect™ Columns

POROS® A, G, and CaptureSelect™ HPLC columns incorporate the advantages of high-speed POROS® chromatography resins with the unique selectivity of Protein A, Protein G, and CaptureSelect™ ligands (Figure 1). The combination allows 3-minute quantitation of immunoglobulins, fusion proteins, Fabs, and biospecific antibodies.

High Speed with High Specificity

The combination of Protein A, Protein G, and CaptureSelect™ affinity ligands when combined with POROS® 20 µm resin provides a high flow rate, high-performance chromatography solution for the rapid quantitation and small-scale purification of:

IgG—all subclasses, specific for human
IgM—specific for human, mouse, or rat
Kappa light chain—specific for human Igs and Fab fragments with a kappa light chain
Lambda light chain—specific for human Igs and Fab fragments with a lambda light chain
Human serum albumin
Fusion proteins, Fc, or human serum albumin
IgG-CH1—specific for human IgG antibodies and Fab fragments
Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)—binding only the intact form of FSH

An example of the chromatographic performance of POROS® CaptureSelect™ LC-Kappa with five unique kappa Fab fragments is shown in Figure 2a. The associated standard curves, Figure 2b, exhibit excellent linearity.
