• Traditional program – conventional small scale vessels used for development work
• Consult program – designed for customers that are unable to transfer their cell line for external studies but wish to leverage Gibco® PD-Direct® Bioprocess Services' experience in media development

Our process development team can help you find a media solution that fits your needs. We have a proven track record of successfully developing cell line specific and platform media for our customers globally. Our approach includes:

• Consultation with our team to define your process needs and options
• Scope definition for development of a shared work plan with defined goals, milestones, and deliverables
• Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize concentrations of media components to identify suitable base and feed media formulations
• Combination of media and process conditions (pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, etc.)
• Scalability evaluation of media in bench top bioreactors leading to seamless transfer to the partner’s team for validation
