- Product Usage: Cells were cultured in RPMI-1640 supplemented with 100 units/ml penicillin, 100 µg/ml streptomycin, 2 mM L-glutamine, and 10% fetal calf serum. Transient induction of IL-6 mRNA by anti-CD40 treatment was associated with reduced p50:p65 NF-B DNA binding and elevated binding of CBF1 to a site overlapping the NF-B site. The authors found that prolonged induction of CBF1 may contribute to the transient nature of the IL-6 response.
