- Product Usage: HEK 293 and NIH 3T3 cells were transfected with 10 ug of either pCXN2-CRK II or the pCXN2 vector using the LipofectAMINE reagent, according to the manufacturer's recommended conditions. Selection in 0.5 mg/ml G418 began 48 h after transfection. After 2-3 weeks of selection in G418, individual colonies were isolated.

- Product Usage: DNA transfections of COS-7 cells were carried out using LipofectAMINE. Briefly, 5 µg of total plasmid DNA was mixed with 25 µl of LipofectAMINE for transfection of 100-mm cell culture dishes. Cells were incubated 6 h in the presence of LipofectAMINE and DNA in serum-free media before adding calf serum to 10% and incubated an additional 18 h before changing to normal growth media. Cells were harvested 48 h after initial transfection.
