MycoFluor™ Mycoplasma Detection Kit

Category: Products & Services > Kits & Assays > Impurity & Contamination Detection Kits > Mycoplasma Detection Kits

The MycoFluor™ Mycoplasma Detection Kit provides an ultrasensitive, rapid and simple fluorescence microscopic acid for the visual identification of mycoplasma infection in laboratory cell cultures. In order to detect mycoplasma, the fluorescent MycoFluor™ reagent is added directly to the culture medium, with or without cells, and the stained sample is then examined under a fluorescence microscope.

resDNASEQ® Quantitative MDCK DNA Kit with PrepSEQ® Residual DNA Sample Preparation Kit

Category: Products & Services > Kits & Assays > Impurity & Contamination Detection Kits > Host Cell DNA & Protein Impurity Quantitation Kits

The resDNASEQ® MDCK Residual DNA Quantitation System is a quantitative PCR (qPCR)-based system for the detection of host cell DNA from MDCK (canine kidney) cells, an expression system commonly used for the production of vaccines. Reliable and rapid, the resDNASEQ® system enables sensitive (as low as 1.5 pg DNA/mL test sample) and specific quantitation of MDCK cell DNA, typically in less than 4 hours. This performance helps ensure a high degree of confidence in quantitation data obtained from a broad range of sample types—from in-process samples to final product—whether the sample contains high...

MycoSEQ™ Mycoplasma Discriminatory Positive/Extraction Control

Category: Products & Services > Kits & Assays > Impurity & Contamination Detection Kits > Mycoplasma Detection Kits

The Discriminatory Positive⁄Extraction Control is a large plasmid containing a Mycoplasma DNA sequence. This control was designed to behave like Mycoplasma DNA in both the sample preparation and detection portions of the assay. Additionally, the DNA sequence has been modified so that the amplicon generated from this control has a melting temperature (Tm) of approximately 84°C, which is outside the range of amplicons generated from Mycoplasma with this assay. Thus, the Tm can be used to discriminate between a positive test result from Mycoplasma and the control DNA. This novel control enables r...
