Our streptavidin, Marina Blue™ conjugate is a bright, blue-fluorescent probe with excitation/emission ~365/460 nm. Streptavidin is a nonglycosylated biotin-binding protein that is isolated from bacteria and has a near-neutral isoelectric point. It is widely used to detect biotinylated probes, because it reportedly exhibits less nonspecific binding than does the glycosylated, biotin-binding protein, avidin.

The F4/80, clone BM8, Pacific Blue™ dye conjugate is a monoclonal rat antibody that is specific to mouse F4/80 and recognizes the expressed product of the Emr1 gene. Our Pacific Blue™ dye is optimally excited by the violet laser and conjugates of this dye are strongly fluorescent even at neutral pH. Pacific Blue™ and Pacific Orange™ dye conjugates can be simultaneously excited at 405 nm and emit at 455 nm and 551 nm, respectively, facilitating two-color analysis. Antibody Specifications Description: F4/80, Rat IgG2a monoclonal Label: Pacific Blue™ dye Validated Application: Flow Cytometry Spec...

LysoSensor™ Yellow/Blue DND-160 is a ratiometric probe that can be used to measure the pH of acidic organelles, such as lysosomes. The LysoSensor dye produces blue fluorescence in neutral environments, but changes to yellow fluorescence in more acidic environments. The pK a of LysoSensor Yellow/Blue DND-160 is ~4.2.

SYTOX® Green nucleic acid stain is an excellent green-fluorescent nuclear and chromosome counterstain that is impermeant to live cells, making it a useful indicator of dead cells within a population. • Impermeant to live cells • Excitation/Emission: 504/523 nm • Use with 488 Argon-ion laser • Works with mammalian cells and both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria Simple Viability Determination SYTOX® Green allows quick determination of cell viability when using flow cytometers, fluorescence microscopes, fluorometers, or fluorescence microplate readers. It will not cross intact membranes, ...

The LIVE/DEAD® Fixable Dead Cell Stain Kit employs an amine-reactive fluorescent dye to evaluate mammalian cell viability by flow cytometry. In cells with compromised membranes, the dye reacts with free amines both in the cell interior and on the cell surface, yielding intense fluorescent staining. In viable cells, the dye's reactivity is restricted to the cell-surface amines, resulting in less intense fluorescence. The difference in intensity between the live and dead cell populations is typically greater than 50 fold, and this fluorescence intensity discrimination is completely preserved fol...

ER-Tracker Blue-White DPX dye is a photostable probe that is selective for the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in live cells. The cells can be aldehyde-fixed after staining with the dye but significant fluorescence signal will be lost. With excitation at ~374 nm, the environmentally-sensitive probe exhibits emission between 430 and 640 nm. A long-pass DAPI filter works best.

Molecular Probes® CellTracker™ fluorescent probes freely pass through cell membranes and are converted to cell-impermeant reaction products. The cell-impermeant form is passed to daughter cells through several generations but is not transferred to adjacent cells in the population. Cells that are loaded with CellTracker™ probes are typically fluorescent and viable for at least 24 hours, making these probes excellent long-term cell tracers. Furthermore, the staining pattern can be fixed with formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde to allow long-term storage of the labeled cells or tissue, to facilitate s...

The Covaris® M220 Blue miniTUBE is specifically engineered to shear genomic DNA into fragment size distributions centered on 3 kb. Fragment distributions are tight and precisely centered on the targeted size. Each blue miniTUBE can process 200 µl of sample. Each package contains 25 tubes.
Condenser sliders are used to improve illumination under certain conditions and several are available for the EVOS® imaging systems, including a diffuser slider, pinhole slider, and meniscus sliders. Due to variances in sample size, color and thickness, actual slider use may differ from suggestions. This blue slider is intended for brightfield applications at all magnifications as a daylight-correction filter for use with a color camera, like the one included with the EVOS® FL Color Imaging System. The EVOS® XL system enables direct adjustment of the white light LED color temperature. Explore ...

Novex® TBE Gels provide the highest resolution possible for analyzing restriction digests and PCR products. DNA fragments ranging from 10 to 3,000 base pairs are clearly resolved into sharp, tight bands. Novex® DNA Retardation gels are prepared with 0.5X TBE as the gel buffer. This is sufficient for good electrophoretic separation, yet low enough to promote DNA-protein interactions. Novex® TBE and DNA Retardation Gels are designed to run on the XCell SureLock ™ Mini-Cell. Formulation: Novex® TBE and DNA Retardation Gels are manufactured with high-purity tris base, boric acid, EDTA, acrylamide,...
