Ambion® Acetylated BSA is used as a carrier protein and as an enzyme stabilizer in which the absence of contaminants such as nucleases and proteases is essential. Six tubes of 25 mg are provided, at a concentration of 40–50 mg/mL. The acetylation process inactivates any trace nuclease activity that might be present.
