The Ambion® Single Tube Magnetic Stand accommodates one 1.5 mL microfuge tube. With this stand, as with any magnetic stand, centrifugation is replaced by the attraction between capture beads in a solution and the magnet in the stand, resulting in the beads collecting on one side of the microfuge tube.
