ER-Tracker Blue-White DPX dye is a photostable probe that is selective for the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in live cells. The cells can be aldehyde-fixed after staining with the dye but significant fluorescence signal will be lost. With excitation at ~374 nm, the environmentally-sensitive probe exhibits emission between 430 and 640 nm. A long-pass DAPI filter works best.

The ER-Tracker™ Red dye is cell-permeant, live-cell stain that is highly selective for the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) that when stained using the protocol provided, the staining pattern is partially retained after fixation with formaldehyde. This stain consists of the green-fluorescent BODIPY® TR dye and glibenclamide. Glibenclamide (glyburide) binds to the sulphonylurea receptors of ATP-sensitive K + channels which are prominent on ER; the pharmacological activity of glibenclamide could potentially affect ER function. Variable expression of sulphonylurea receptors in some specialized cell typ...

Alkaline Phosphatase Live Stain is a stem cell imaging product that allows users to differentially stain pluripotent stem cells (PSCs). The dye is a cell-permeable fluorescent substrate for alkaline phosphatase (AP) that is non-toxic to cells, diffusing out over the course of two hours. The Alkaline Phosphatase Live Stain consists of 50 µL of a 500X fluorescein-based dye in DMSO, sufficient for staining two 24-well plates, four 6 cm dishes or two 10 cm dishes. This Alkaline Phosphatase Live Stain allows you to: • Identify pluripotent stem cells with a strong signal above background • Stain PSC...

MitoSOX™ Red reagent is a novel fluorogenic dye specifically targeted to mitochondria in live cells. Oxidation of MitoSOX™ Red reagent by superoxide produces red fluorescence. • Readily oxidized by superoxide but not by other ROS- or RNS-generating systems • Absorption/emission maxima: ~510/580 nm • Use for live cell imaging • Rapidly and selectively targeted to the mitochondria Quick, Easy Detection of Mitochondrial Superoxide in Live Cells The production of superoxide by mitochondria can be visualized in fluorescence microscopy using the MitoSOX™ Red reagent. MitoSOX™ Red reagent permeates l...
