The Bioruptor® UCD-200 is a benchtop sonication device used to uniformly process up to 12 x 0.5 ml samples simultaneously in sealed tubes without aerosol formation. Consisting of a high-power ultrasound generating element located below a water bath, the Bioruptor® sonicates at a 20 kHz frequency, similar to a probe sonicator.
