The ER-Tracker™ Red dye is cell-permeant, live-cell stain that is highly selective for the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) that when stained using the protocol provided, the staining pattern is partially retained after fixation with formaldehyde. This stain consists of the green-fluorescent BODIPY® TR dye and glibenclamide. Glibenclamide (glyburide) binds to the sulphonylurea receptors of ATP-sensitive K + channels which are prominent on ER; the pharmacological activity of glibenclamide could potentially affect ER function. ER-Tracker™ Blue-White DPX, for live-cell imaging

ER-Tracker Blue-White DPX dye is a photostable probe that is selective for the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in live cells. The cells can be aldehyde-fixed after staining with the dye but significant fluorescence signal will be lost. With excitation at ~374 nm, the environmentally-sensitive probe exhibits emission between 430 and 640 nm. A long-pass DAPI filter works best.
