The phycobiliprotein, allophycocyanin (APC) can be conjugated to proteins such as antibodies and other molecules to produce conjugates with excitation/emission maxima ~650/680 for use in flow cytometry applications. The Protein-Protein Crosslinking Kit (P6305) is optimized to crosslink APC to IgG antibodies.
