A 1-year Extended Warranty for your StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System will add 1 year of coverage to the existing warranty. With this extended warranty, your StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System is covered by our Rapid Exchange Service* protection plan. Should you encounter an issue with your instrument, call technical support and talk to one of our Certified Senior Technical Specialists to get assistance in resolving most technical problems. In the event that your instrument needs service, simply repackage the defective instrument and return it to us – we will pay the shipping costs. We will then send a factory-certified refurbished replacement instrument out to you within one business day* and you should receive it within 3 business days. The service also includes full access to our Applications and Instrument Technical Support teams.

Additional service plan options are also available should your organization prefer the repair and return of your current instrument rather than replacement with a factory-certified refurbished system.

* Life Technologies will ship a factory-certified refurbished unit of the same instrument model covered by this service plan within one business day from the time that Life Technologies determines that a replacement is required. On-site planned maintenance (PM), remedial repairs and parts, and computer hardware are not covered under this plan. Your StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System must be 5 years old or newer to qualify for this service and be in good working order at time of service plan purchase.
