Specific for BRD3

Bromodomain-Containing Protein 3 (BRD3) is encoded by the BRD3 gene present on chromosome 9. It is also referred to as Ring 3-like protein because of its similarity to the serine/threonine kinase Ring 3. BRD3 is expressed ubiquitously and localized in the nucleus, where it binds to regions of the N-terminal tails of histones at lysine residues that have been methylated. This binding triggers chromatin remodeling and gene transcription.
