Interleukin 13 (IL13), recombinant cynomolgus protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in performing cell-based assays and protein studies such as protein structure analysis and protein-protein interactions. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the mature form of cynomolgus (Macaca fascicularis) IL-13 (ABG75889.1) (Ser 21-Asn 132) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.

Activity:
1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized cynomolgus IL-13 at 4 µg/ml (100 µl/well) can bind human IL13RA1 with a linear ranger of 0.156-2.5 µg/ml.
2. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The specific activity is 5-20 ng/ml.

Formulation: Lyophilized in 140 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 10 mM Na2HPO4, 1.8 mM KH2PO4, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.

This protein is manufactured by SINO Biological.
