Human respiratory Syncytial Virus A G Glycoprotein (HRSV-G), a recombinant viral protein, is supplied in frozen format and is quite suitable for use in protein structure analyses. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as immunogens, protein standards, and in other cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the glycoprotein G extracellular domain (Asn 66-Arg297) of human respiratory syncytial virus A (93% homologous with strain rsb1734) (P27022-1) that is fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity: This recombinant protein has not been tested.

Formulation: 50 mM Tris, 100 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol, 0.5 mM EDTA, 0.5 mM PMSF, pH 8.0.

Reconstitution: No reconstitution needed. Store at -80°C. Thaw protein on ice before use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
