GM2 Ganglioside Activator (GM2A), recombinant human protein is supplied in frozen protein. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the human GM2A (AAA35907.1) (Met 1- Ile 193) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity: The activity of this protein has not been tested.

Reconstitution: No reconstitution is needed. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -80°C. Thaw protein on ice before use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Formulation: 20 mM Tris, 500 mM NaCl, 10% Glycerol, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween80.
