Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, Mitochondrial 1 (PTPMT1), recombinant human protein is supplied as a frozen protein. It is suitable for use in protein studies such as enzymatic analysis and protein-protein interactions. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the human PTPMT1 isoform 1 (Q8WUK0-1) (Lys 28-Thr 201) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its ability to cleave pNPP. The specific activity is >200 pmoles/min/µg.

Formulation: PBS, 10% Glycerol, 1mM DTT, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween80.

Reconstitution: No reconstitution needed. Store at -80°C. Thaw protein on ice before use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
