Alpha-2-Hs-Glycoprotein (AHSG), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in protein studies such as protein structure analysis and protein-protein interactions. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the mouse AHSG (NP_032037.2) precursor (Met1-Ile 345) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity:
1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human FCN1 at 10 µg/ml can bind AHSG with a linear range of 16-2000 ng/ml.
2. Measured by its ability to inhibit trypsin cleavage of a fluorogenic peptide substrate, Mca-RPKPVE-Nval-WRK(Dnp)-NH2, AnaSpec, Catalog # 2711.The IC50 value is <200 nM.

Formulation: Lyophilized in 25 mM Tris, 0.15M NaCl, pH 7.5, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.

This protein is manufactured by SINO Biological.
