Matrix Metallopeptidase 3 (MMP3), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in protein studies such as enzymetic analysis and protein-protein interactions. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the human MMP3 (AAA36321.1) N-terminal fragment (Tyr 18-Thr 272).

Activity: Measured by its ability to cleave the fluorogenic peptide substrate, Mca-RPKPVE-Nval-WRK(Dnp)-NH₂, AnaSpec, Catalog # 27114. The specific activity is >300 pmoles/min/ µg.

Formulation: Lyophilized in 50 mM Tris 10 mMCaCL2 1uM ZnCL2 50 mM Nacl 0.5%Brij35 PH=7.05% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 µg/ µl or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
