Secretoglobin, Family 1A, Member 1 (Uteroglobin) (SCGB1A1), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure, and performing cell based assays. It can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in other research applications

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the mouse SCGB1A1 (Q06318) (Met 1-Phe 96) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity: Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of the A549 human lung carcinoma cell line. When 5 x 10⁴ cells/well are added to SCGB1A1 coated plates (5 µg/ml with 100 µl/well), approximately >40% will adhere after 1 hour at 37 °C.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
