Kininogen 1 (KNG1), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the mouse KNG1 isoform 3 (NP_001095882.1) (Glu 21-Ser 480) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus and a signal peptide at the N-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit papain cleavage of a fluorogenic peptide substrate Z-FR-AMC. The IC₅₀ value is < 5 nM.

Formulation: Lyophilized in 20 mM Tris, 100 mM NaCl, pH 7.5, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
