Specific for IP-10 (Mouse)
IP-10 is a 10 kDa interferon gamma-induced protein. It is a member of CXC family and acts by binding to CXCR3. It is a pro-inflammatory chemoattractant cytokine that attracts activated T lymphocytes. IP-10 is constitutively expressed at low levels in lymph organs. The expression is highly induced by IFN-γ and to some extent by IL12. It is an important biomarker for diagnosis of many clinical conditions. It plays an important role in host defense and inflammation. IP-10 exhibits angiostatic and antitumor role.
