• Superior lot-to-lot consistency
• Extremely high specificity and sensitivity
• Recombinant human biotinylated Fab
• Specific for SETD2

SETD2 (SET domain containing 2) is a histone methyltransferase that methylates lysine-36 of histone H3. Methylation of lysine-36 of histone H3 is a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation. SETD2 probably plays a role in chromatin structure modulation during elongation via its interaction with hyperphosphorylated POLR2A. SETD2 also binds DNA at promoters and it may also act as a transcription activator that binds to promoters. In case of infection, SETD2 binds to the promoters of adenovirus 12 E1A gene, which possibly leads to its regulated expression.
