Specific for SCMH1

SCMH1 (sex comb on midleg homolog 1 (Drosophila)) is encoded by the SCMH1 gene in humans. SCMH1 associates with a Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein complexes, in which the complex class is required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of some genes.
