Single Day Sequencing Workflow
Ion Torrent revolutionizes template preparation by integrating 4 workflows into a single system: 1) microreactor generation for massively parallel clonal amplification, 2) template amplification using a novel in-line PCR technology, 3) Ion Sphere™ particle recovery using an integrated mini-centrifugation system, and 4) template-positive Ion Sphere™ particle enrichment by magnetic separation. By integrating multiple workflows, the Ion OneTouch™ 2 System and associated reagent kit shortens template preparation to minutes of hands-on time, allowing you to progress from sample to results in a single day. The modular nature of the Ion sequencing workflow allows for processing of up to 2 samples per day.
