Cluster of Differentiation 36 (CD36), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure, studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as an immunogen, or as a protein standard.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Gly 30-Asn 439) of human CD36 (NP_001001547.1) fused both to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus and a signal peptide at the N-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA . Immobilized human CD36 at 20 µg/ml(100 µl/well) can bind biotinylated human RSPO1 with a linear range of 0.032-4 µg/ml.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
