The TaqMan® Array Human Viral Pathogen Screening Card contains 16 pre-selected TaqMan® pathogen detection assays to detect multiple strains of human viral pathogens. These pathogens are: HPV16, HTLV-1, HTLV-2, EBV, CMV, BKV, JCV,SV40, HBV, HCV, HHV-1 or HSV-1, HHV-7, HIV-1, HIV-2 and HAdV C. The TaqMan® assays for HBV, HIV-1, HIV-2, HTLV-2 and HAdV C are multiplexed assays. All of the assays have been validated using stem cell culture.

Easy to Load and Run
Using the TaqMan® array card is fast and simple. The micro fluidic technology uses 8 sample loading ports, each connected to 48 reaction wells. Simply pipette your sample (pre-mixed with Ag-Path ID™ One-step RT-PCR reagent) into each sample loading port and briefly centrifuge. Within minutes, your 384-well TaqMan® array card is ready to run on the Applied Biosystems® 7900HT Fast or ViiA™ 7 Real-Time PCR Systems.

TaqMan® array cards are ideal for screening applications, from biomarker and toxicology screens to pathway and disease-set analysis. These arrays are part of a collection of TaqMan® Gene Signature Array Cards that enable analysis of hundreds of TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays with minimal effort.
