Fast Medium Preparation
imMedia™ growth medium is fast food for E. coli. Simply mix with water in a clean flask, heat in a microwave oven, and in less than 5 minutes your medium is prepared (see figure).

For your convenience, imMedia™ growth medium is available for preparing liquid medium or agar plates, with or without X-gal/IPTG. You also have a choice of three antibiotics: ampicillin, kanamycin, or Zeocin™ selection agent. imMedia™ growth medium is packaged in ready-to-use individual pouches. Each pouch contains sufficient reagents for preparing 200 ml of liquid media or 8-10 standard 100 mm² agar plates.
