PureLink® PCR Purification Kits provide rapid and efficient removal of short primers, dNTPs, enzymes, short-failed PCR products, and salts from PCR products (Figure 1). The simple PureLink® bind/wash/elute procedure:
- provides two Binding Buffer options for fragments >100 bp or >300 bp*
- can be performed in either single column or 96-well plate format
Two proprietary buffers are supplied to meet the needs of different purification requirements. Use the Binding Buffer for routine purifications of double-stranded DNA fragments from 100 bp to 12 kb. Use Binding Buffer HC for removal of primer dimers (<300 bp), eliminating the need for tedious gel purification (Figure 2). PCR products purified using the PureLink® Kit demonstrate outstanding performance in downstream applications such as cloning automated fluorescent DNA sequencing, PCR, restriction mapping, and labeling.
